Too big smartphone
frustrated by the choice of smartphone
As I wanted, my parents gave me a wonderful Xiaomi Mi 9 phone with 128 GB of memory and a very large battery for my birthday. But I did not even imagine that a phone with such characteristics would be a huge shovel, which I do not like at all, and I will not be able to handle it.
It was inconvenient for me to use it, I constantly dropped it from-for size, to for the same reason I am very clumsy. Its interface was cumbersome, and the design was completely unpleasant for me. Because of All this I received from the phone only negative emotions. I was ashamed and embarrassed in front of my parents for this and also for the fact that I dropped it so often. But I was grateful to them and went with this phone, I had no other. Phone something in fact, it’s good, and the camera is cool, but it’s just not a model for me.
As a result, I screwed him up six months later – not on purpose, he just fell hard. I broke the screen with a matrix without the possibility of recovery. And I’m still sorry for this gift – they tried, but the model didn’t suit me, and I didn’t look like him much. Too bad, I’m still worried from-for this situation.
Not very smart scales
did not rate the gadget
Smart scales show that I’m eight years older, and generally upset me 🙂
Coffee maker already given
We gave a friend a coffee maker for his birthday, which he had long wanted. It turned out exactly the same colleagues presented him in the morning.
Bulky music system
On some jubilee is that work in the enterprise is that by age, I don’t remember now – to my dad for some reason decided to donate a music system. Moreover, my father rarely listens to music even in the car. AND okay they gave him an ordinary tape recorder or a radio tape recorder – so they gave him some an incredibly huge music center the size of a good bedside table. As I remember now, there was a three-disc changer, two cassettes and a whole section with equalizers.
At the same time, it soon became clear that he was cheap and did not play music very cleanly, taking up a lot of space. It is not clear where to put him, because only I listened to music, and there was no place for him in my room. He also didn’t read MP3s from CDs. for some reason. But he looked impressive.
As a result, he went to the country, where, probably, he had already rotted.
Unusable drawing tablet
Once upon a time I was given a Genius drawing tablet, on which you draw a circle, but you get an oval. I still haven’t figured out how to use it.
Powerbank without wireless charging function
did not receive important information
About five years ago, I gave my then-boyfriend a voluminous power bank on February 23rd. He was not very pleased and said that he wanted a model with a fast charging function.
Of course, I reordered the model that I needed, and kept the previous one for myself. But it was not very pleasant, because for me the need for such a function was not obvious and he did not express this wish.
Cappuccinatore that does not perform the main function
drinking coffee without froth
The worst tech gift was the cappuccinatore that didn’t froth milk.
Glitchy communicator
owned a stylish but unsuccessful gadget
Hold my green jasmine tea. My worst tech gift was a two-way communicator from Acer. On the one hand – a PDA controlled by a stylus, on the other – a push-button telephone with a monochrome display. Looked very cool, but that was his only plus. Unrealistically buggy and unfinished model. To the honor of the donor, I can say that I chose the gift myself, he only paid for it.
