Dream Host, Meteors, Divine Purpose, Fading Light…

A new salvo of fixes was deployed last night on WoW. This concerns Balance Druids, Paladins, Holy and Shadow Priests, PvP as well as Wrath of the Lich King Classic. Find the details below.

Classes

  • Druid
    • Balance
      • Changed Dream Host Faerie Dragons to reduce the frequency with which they unintentionally attract enemies. These will now enter stealth or invisibility if the Druid does, and now spawn closer to him.
      • Meteor damage increased by 13%.
      • Meteors no longer deals damage once when first cast.
        • Developers Note: The above changes resolve an issue. Meteors deals damage once when applied initially. When refreshed, it refreshes the existing Meteors instead of creating a new one. Thus, subsequent casts of Meteors do not have the damage of the initial hit. This change removes the initial hit and adds the damage it would deal over all other Meteor ticks. As a Druid, you’ll notice a slightly longer delay before Starfall deals damage, but its total damage will be increased when cast multiple times.
  • Paladin
    • Fixed an issue where Divine Purpose would sometimes be consumed by an Afterimage proc.
    • Fixed an issue where Fading Light would sometimes apply absorb without any value.
  • Priest
    • Sacred
      • Fixed an issue where Token of Hope was reducing the cooldown of Divine Protection and Avenger’s Shield for Retribution Paladins. This will now only reduce the cooldown of Divine Protection.
    • Ombre
      • Fixed an issue where Mind Blasts queuing following Mind Spike were not correctly reducing the cast time of Mind Blast with the Mind Melt talent.
