One driver was caught going 131 km/h on a road with a 50 km/h speed limit in Liancourtois, while another was caught going 152 km/h on an 80 km/h road near Crépy-en-Valois. On March 26, 2023, police intercepted a driver on the A1 motorway who was traveling at 230 km/h instead of the prescribed 130 km/h. According to Mail Picard, a patrol from the Senlis motorway platoon saw a Porsche traveling at full speed towards them during a morning check. The patrol gave chase and following more than 20 kilometers, they found the vehicle stopped at the toll of Chamant near Senlis. The driver claimed that their means of payment did not work and also said that they were looking for a gas station as their fuel gauge was very low. The driver was fined 750 € and had their license suspended on the spot.

The passenger with a joint of cannabis paid a fine of €150 on the spot. Blood alcohol and drug tests taken on the driver came back negative. In a bid to reduce the number of fatalities on the roads, authorities have increased controls in the department since the beginning of the year.
