Rush hour traffic across the Atlantic: US politicians of the highest rank are currently invading Africa in droves. Vice President Kamala Harris landed in Ghana on Monday for her first visit to the continent, just as Foreign Minister Antony Blinken was completing his third tour of Africa. Earlier, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen paid a visit to the financially weak continent, followed by Washington’s UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
