The classification of Antifa as a terrorist organization would help the work of law enforcement agencies

The hallmarks and characteristics of terrorist organizations can be clearly discovered in Antifa’s operation. This includes the dangers they pose to various societies, possibly even through their series of politically motivated attacks, József Horváth told Magyar Nemzet. According to the security policy advisor of the Center for Fundamental Rights, classifying the far-left Antifa as a terrorist organization would make it easier for law enforcement agencies to take effective action once morest violent movements that aim for human lives. As he explained, sometimes the cooperation between the secret services of the European Union (EU) and NATO member states can be made difficult by the different interpretations of individual crimes in the legal systems of different states.

– Currently, in Western Europe, the biased political narrative regarding Antifa and other far-left organizations regularly overrides professional expectations, which has the consequence that members of law enforcement agencies are afraid of being labeled as far-right when they take action once morest activists belonging to the mentioned groups, so it is not rare that they look the other way even in violent criminal cases, said the security policy advisor.

László Földi also emphasized that

Antifa is clearly a terrorist organization, as their goal is to disrupt the social order.

– The leftist glaze really means a kind of protective cover for them, since German politics has really seen these organizations as allies for decades, but in addition, Antifa’s methods also fit well into the chaos favored by the global liberal elite – said László Földi.

In the meantime, international public opinion is finding it increasingly difficult to bear the actions of the extreme left, which uses street violence consciously and in an organized manner, and the leadership of several countries is already calling for the declaration of Antifa as a terrorist organization. Reminder: Former US President Donald Trump announced in May 2020 that the United States would register Antifa as a domestic terrorist group, following congressional reports proved that the extremist movement played a central role in igniting a series of protests that engulfed several major American cities in flames, during which mostly white, innocent people were lynched.

At the beginning of last year, Tom Vandendriessche, the Brussels representative of the Belgian Flemish Interests party, asked whether the European Commission is willing to regard Antifa as a terrorist organization and to ban all groups with that name.

Voices protesting once morest Antifa are also growing in Germany. According to the latest opinion polls, members of the European Parliament of the currently third most popular party, the already mentioned patriotic AfD, submitted a motion for a resolution to add Antifa to the terrorist list of the European Union just two weeks ago.
