According to several reports, Tiger Woods participated in a meeting on Tuesday with senior PGA Tour officials to discuss the dissident LIV circuit in particular. An appointment that he would have organized himself.
It was first a video that set fire to the powder. Tiger Woods was seen with Rickie Folwer at the exit of a private jet on the runway of Atlantic Aviation before the man with the five green jackets takes the wheel of a car in the company of his compatriot. A destination far from trivial since it is located regarding forty minutes drive from the Wilmington Country Club where takes place from this Thursday the BMW Championshipsecond stage of the finals of the FedEx Cup.

He was later spotted entering a hotel in Wilmington where he reportedly attended a meeting with several prominent members of the PGA Tour. Jon Rahm has also confirmed that a meeting of the Players Advisory Council was planned, before suggesting that the Tiger would not necessarily be present.

Tiger Woods takes matters into his own hands
Alan Shipnucka well-known American golf journalist who was the first to talk regarding the 200 million bonus Phil Mickelson to join the LIV, released several important information regarding this meeting. If nothing has been confirmed for the moment by the board of the PGA TourShipnuck claimed it was Tiger Woods himself who had been at the origin of this meeting which aimed to discuss strategies to counter the mass exodus to the LIV. He even said the 46-year-old was now acting as the ‘de facto commissioner’ of the PGA Tour.
I’m hearing tomorrow’s PGA Tour player meeting regarding LIV is going to be a banger. Supposedly everything is on the table, from major championship boycotts to Monahan’s future to a larger compromise. And Tiger M.F. Woods is expected to fly in to provide counsel/bully/cajole.????

Boycott of adults?
Shipnuck previously reported that the alleged meeting with the top brass would be to discuss the potential boycott of the majors if LIV players were allowed to participate, or even the future of Jay Monahancurrent commissioner of the PGA Tour, going through the widest possible compromise.
