World number three, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, qualified for the fourth round of the Miami Open, with a thousand points, by defeating world number 82 Christian Garin, with two sets to one.
Tsitsipas, who suffered a shoulder injury, won the match in two hours and 5 minutes, 3-6, 4-6, 6-4.
Tsitsipas will meet in the next round with Russia’s Karen Khachanov, who qualified for the same round, following defeating Czech Jiri Lehicka in two sets without a response.
It is noteworthy that Tsitsipas played his first match in the Miami Championship, where he was exempted from playing the first round, and qualified for the third round, due to the withdrawal of his French competitor, Richard Gaxet, who suffered an ankle injury.
