A family experienced a moment of maximum drama this last Sunday night. Everything happened in the city of Pilar, in Greater Córdoba.
According to what Axel Mengo told The voiceThey had gone out with his wife and two-year-old daughter for a ride on the motorcycle they had bought last Thursday.
When they stopped on General Paz street, in front of the Club de Abuelos (a few blocks from the city center), they were approached by two criminals, who crossed a Honda Tornado motorcycle on the road.
“One of the people got out with a revolver and pointed it at my chest and at my daughter who was holding her,” the victim said. According to her, they told her to give him the motorcycle if they were not going to kill him.
The girl’s mother fainted on the sidewalk, and was assisted by friends. While the boy had gone following the thieves.
Persecution
“We followed them in a friend’s car. They faced the side of Río Segundo. And we lost sight of them when they got into a field”, said Axel Mengo.
The man said they were two people in their 20s. And he further noted that they were skinny.
After the fact, he filed a complaint at the local police station. “Motorcycle robberies are constant, although it is not frequent that they are armed. Something has to be done, ”he asked.
The victim reported that he bought the motorcycle last Thursday. And she said that it is the only means of transportation that she had. I bought it to go to work. I’ll have to walk once more, ”he said resignedly.
