The price of gold rose today, Monday, in Egypt, and the gram increased by 20 pounds, by evening trading, compared to its level in the middle of trading, according to Naguib, former Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, to Masrawy.
The price of a gram of gold declined until the middle of trading by 10 pounds compared to what it was yesterday, to rise in evening trading to compensate for its loss and increase by 10 pounds from the price of yesterday.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 1360 pounds per gram.
The price of 18 carat gold rose to regarding 1749 pounds per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold rose to 2040 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold reached 2331 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound rose to 16,320 pounds, and the price may vary from one trader to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
