The Nothing Phone 2 appears in a first certification, its launch is fast approaching

The launch of the Nothing Phone (2) is becoming more and more precise. Carl Pei’s next smartphone has indeed received its first certification, in India, indicating that its launch in the country will not be long. It is obviously expected that the latter will be available worldwide.

Long denied, Nothing ended up confirming that its Phone (2) will be released in 2023. While there was once talk of a longer delay between the first smartphone of the name and its successor, there was never really a doubt regarding the will of the firm to offer a new version of its flagship product – if only by the name “(1)” of the smartphone in question.

Some information has certainly already leaked, but the question of the launch date remains unresolved. Also, the first certification of the device comes to guide us on the thing. The Nothing Phone (2) indeed appeared in a first listing with the BIS, the Indian certification office. This gives no indication of the phone’s technical data sheet, but confirms that the manufacturer is quietly preparing its launch.

The Nothing Phone (2) is certified in India, soon a release date?

Indeed, this corresponds more or less to the release schedule of the Nothing Phone (1), which was entitled to launch in July 2022. We therefore expect its successor to arrive at the same period, i.e. during the third quarter of This year. With this certification, Nothing proves that the steps have already begun to prepare for the marketing of the smartphone in the world.

Moreover, we already know some technical details regarding the Nothing Phone (2). The manufacturer has notably confirmed that the latter will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 processor, most likely the 8+ Gen 1. It should be accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. For the screen, we would find a 120 Hz AMOLED, all powered by a 5000 mAh battery compatible with wireless charging. At this rate, see you in a few weeks for more information.
