unusual long weekend checks

This long weekend, special traffic controls were deployed in Neuquén, due to the greater circulation that is usually registered on these dates. Some of the results of the operation were unusual and are marked by alcohol, such as the smonitoring of a vehicle that made improper maneuvers from Neuquén until it was detained in Piedra del Águila or the Collision with a patrol car.

The operational coordinator of the Neuquén Transit Directorate, inspector Héctor Pérez, detailed some of the situations that occurred since the Thursday, when the operation began of the area.

He indicated that they detained an Amarok truck and an Audi car that were running chopped on ex-Route 22, current Mosconi Avenue, which crosses capital Neuquén. He stressed that it is not the first time that they have put a stop to these dangerous situations and that one of the drivers’ license has already been taken away, but he gets it back.

He also reported that on Friday they delayed in Piedra del Águila to a shot in which two women were traveling. They had been following them from Neuquén capital because they carried out dangerous overpasses and other improper maneuvers. When they were subjected to the breathalyzer test, both gave positive results.

That same Friday, two other women starred in another event colliding “by reach” to a police mobile that was at a control.

During the early hours of Saturday, a man collided with several vehicles until his vehicle stopped. When he was subjected to the breathalyzer test, they might not measure his true value for grams of alcohol in blood because he exceeded the three grams, the maximum value of the device.

Finally, Sunday was reached, the day of return for those who traveled for the long weekend, with the reinforcement of controls on the route, which will include the Movement of mobile phones to high traffic areas, such as Arroyito, from 4:00 p.m.
