The Trade Department’s “Abundantly Supplied” Market

During the month of Ramadan, the department of Mbacké in Senegal is well supplied with essential consumer goods, as reported by the head of the departmental trade service, Dieumbe Fall. The market is stocked with products such as oil, rice, potato, onion, and milk. However, there is a shortage of sugar due to delays in the distribution chain caused by delays at the factory level.

Mbacké, March 25 (APS) – The department of Mbacké is well supplied with consumer goods during the month of Ramadan, we learned from the head of the departmental trade service.

”As we speak, the market happens to be well stocked, including oil, rice, potato, onion, and milk. We have no difficulty with these products which are in sufficient quantity on the market,” said Dieumbe Fall in an interview with APS.

However, he pointed out that sugar was not sufficiently available on the local market.

”In reality, the sugar is there in Senegal, but it is the distribution chain that is the problem. In other words, there are delays at the factory level and it is these delays that have impacted the correct supply of the market,” he explained.

In conclusion, despite the slight hiccup in the availability of sugar, the department of Mbacké seems to be well supplied with essential consumer goods during the holy month of Ramadan. This update from the head of the departmental trade service, Dieumbe Fall, will surely bring relief to the people of Mbacké, who can now celebrate Ramadan with ease, comfort and abundant food supply. Let us hope that the distribution chain for sugar is resolved soon, to ensure that all essential goods are available in sufficient quantities on the local market.
