A 51-year-old woman was rescued by officials from the Criminal, Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc), attached to the Special Victims Division, who also managed to arrest her captor.
The investigations began when relatives of the victim filed a complaint of the disappearance of the woman, reporting that she suffered from “mental problems” and had entered a street situation. The commissions were immediately activated and it was determined that the female, who suffers from type 1 bipolar disorder, was deprived of her liberty by a 52-year-old subject.
The man took advantage of the fact that he was an “acquaintance” of the lady and knowing of her condition, he subdued her and locked her in her apartment, located in El Paraíso, Libertador municipality.
The victim was held captive for two years, where in addition to subjecting her to sexual abuse, he forced her to do housework.
Investigations having all the information, they carried out intelligence work in the area, achieving the rescue of the victim, being taken by her relatives to a medical center for evaluation.
