Firefighters were notified by a call to the single emergency number 112, and two water and foam extinguishing vehicles, the working at height vehicle and the SMURD Vulcan crew were sent to the scene.
Firefighters found that the flames had spread to the balcony door, which caused a lot of smoke.
A 15-year-old girl was in the apartment, who was helped out of the house by neighbors. She suffered a panic attack, being medically assisted by the crew of the Ambulance Service.
During the intervention, two other tenants, with locomotion problems, were evacuated from the 8th floor by the firemen. Rescuers extinguished the fire, without affecting other apartments.
The probable cause of the fire is to be determined.
