Capcom has confirmed that the popular The Mercenaries mode will be coming to the Resident Evil 4 remake next month.
The challenge is to eliminate as many enemies as possible within a time limit. It will be released as a free expansion on april 7.

The remake of Resident Evil 4 was released last Friday (24), being critically acclaimed by experts for refining the original mechanics and bringing new features for improved gameplay, in addition to the darker atmosphere. To check out our review, click here.
On Steam, the game reached 135,000 concurrent players, the best brand in the franchise to date. The previous record belonged to Village with 106 thousand users and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, with 74,227 and 60,293 players, respectively.
A free trial called “Chainsaw Demo” is available for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, allowing players to experience the early part of the adventure before purchasing the game. Capcom also plans to bring the game to PlayStation VR2. Last month, the publisher confirmed that it had started development on the virtual reality version, but did not reveal a release date.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
