This Sunday, La Course du Cerveau celebrates its fourth anniversary in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Three races are scheduled.
Run for a good cause. Here is the challenge set up by the French League once morest Multiple Sclerosis in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. This solidarity race is conducted in favor of the fight once morest Multiple Sclerosis with the aim of raising funds for medical research and will be held this Sunday at the Domaine National de Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Three races are scheduled, including a new race, the 16.73 km, which refers to the construction of the Grande Terrasse du Domaine in 1673.
The other two routes are 10 km and 2.5 km long. The 10 km is made up of two loops of five kilometers, while the 2.5 km has been drawn so that the able-bodied or not can participate.
Awareness-raising events set up
An associative village, awareness stands, discovery activities, on-site catering, a warm-up with musical entertainment and introductions to several disabled sports are planned. The village opens at 8:30 a.m. Awareness-raising actions begin at 9 a.m., followed by the collective warm-up at 10 a.m. 15 minutes later, the 1673 will set off. The 10 km will follow 30 minutes later. The 2.5 km walk or run will start at 11 a.m. At 11:45 a.m. there will be collective stretching, before the prize-giving at 12:30 p.m. and musical entertainment at 1 p.m.
“It’s a great event to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis, promote the practice of physical activity to limit the progression of disability and raise funds for medical research”, recognizes a participant from the previous edition on the race website. These themes will once once more make the success of the Brain Race.
