National news: Venezuelan individual killed by more than 10 bullets at Central Station

A man was fatally shot while in his car along with his girlfriend, who was also injured in the attack in Estación Central, Metropolitan region. The woman is said to be in serious condition. The Homicide Squad of the Investigation police is investigating the incident, and the woman might have valuable information that can help with the investigation. The attacker is believed to have had an accomplice, as seen in surveillance videos. The investigation is ongoing.

The fatal victim was inside his car, accompanied by a woman -apparently his girlfriend- who was seriously injured, even if it was life-threatening. The PDI began the investigations.

A Venezuelan citizen was riddled with bullets this morning following receiving regarding 10 shots, in the commune of Estación Central, Metropolitan region.

The Homicide Squad (BH) of the Investigation police he began the inquiries and arrived at the scene of the events, in Porto Seguro with Constantino.

The deputy commissioner of the Metropolitan BH, Hugo Acevedo, explained that the fatal victim “was in his private vehicle, together with a woman of Venezuelan nationality; He was approached by a second vehicle, from which an unidentified person got out, armed with a pistol, with which he fired at least 10 times, causing the death of the driver and injuries to the passenger.”

The injured woman was apparently the deceased’s girlfriend. She has a serious injury to her arm, although it was life-threatening.

Currently, they are seeking to determine what happened and the woman might give key clues in the investigation.

“We have the hypothesis that (the attacker) did not come alone, since, from what is seen in some of the videos we have, he gets out of the car, but then gets in and leaves quickly,” said Felipe Olivarí, from the Prosecutor’s Office. North Center.
