During the conference, Prasad accused Rahul of spreading misunderstandings and not focusing on the issue at hand. He clarified that Rahul was disqualified because of his insulting speech towards the Modi community in 2019 and not due to the Adani issue he alleged. Prasad also pointed out that Rahul had not filed an appeal once morest his disqualification and that many others, including members of the BJP, have been disqualified before. He accused the Congress of making Rahul a martyr for the upcoming Karnataka elections. Additionally, Prasad revealed that despite the Supreme Court’s order, Rahul did not hand over his phone for testing to confirm if it was hacked using Pegasus.
