Like every week, I offer you the debrief on the news of the blog and home automation in general, but also topics around the house, finance, and high tech.
First of all, Sunology announced a major change on its already very famous solar station: the solar panel becomes bi-sided, ie it is able to produce on both sides. If the production will not be doubled, this still allows an interesting production gain, with a panel peaking at 527w, which makes it the most powerful solar station on the market! And this without any price increase!
On the home automation side, we have seen how to control our electric water heater via Wifi using a Shelly module, which allows us to regain control of it and trigger it when we wish, during off-peak hours, but also during peak hours. photovoltaic production if desired. A simple installation to carry out, which retains the classic operating mode of the water heater.
If washing stations are today the best for the maintenance of our floors, their often high prices are not always within the reach of all budgets. Fortunately, the field of entry-level robot vacuum cleaners continues to evolve, and today we can take advantage of high-performance devices for very reasonable prices. This is the case for example of the Lefant M1 that we tested, currently at less than 270€!
Finally, we had the opportunity to test for several months a dishwasher specially designed for nomads or small spaces, such as a student room, a motorhome, or even an isolated area, this Hava R01 being able to work on an Ecoflow type battery for example, and its water supply being via an integrated tank.
Good plans not to be missed
Spring is here ! On this occasion you can find these interesting offers in home automation, solar panels, or electric bikes:
With that, I wish you all a great weekend! See you on Monday for new very interesting articles 😉
