A major operation for disrupt a drug gang in Córdoba It was carried out in the last hours.
After the investigation carried out by the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Anti-Drug Police Force carried out eight raids, in which a total of 15 drug dealers were arrested, ten of Peruvian nationality and five Argentines. The operations were carried out in different neighborhoods of the city of Córdoba and in the town of Malvinas Argentinas.
In addition to the aforementioned forces, Customs, Afip and Migrations participated in the operation. The raided neighborhoods in the Capital were the following: Centro, Alto Alberdi, Bajo Pueyrredón, Yofre Norte and Nuestro Hogar III.
In total, a total of 2,225 doses of cocaine and 180 of marijuana were seized, in addition to cash (1,632,000 pesos and 1,700 dollars). Along with this, they kidnapped two cars, two motorcycles, a firearm and items related to the cause.
According to the investigation, those involved used one of the vehicles (taxi) to distribute cocaine in the mentioned neighborhoods. The motorcycles were “camouflaged” as deliveries from a food chain and were also used for drug dealing.
Several of the detainees already had records for selling drugs and for illegal possession of firearms. One of those involved is a minor.
