Delta is making a comeback at Nice-Côte d’Azur airport and will do a double blow for the entire 2023 summer season. From March 26, the American airline will relaunch its seasonal daily service to New York. The connection is relaunched for the 31st consecutive year and this therefore makes Delta the oldest American company to operate on the Côte d’Azur airport platform.
Two seasonal connections
And this year, the Skyteam member company will further strengthen its positioning since from May 13, it will open a new service from Nice, this time to Atlanta. Again, this will be a seasonal connection. The Nice-New York line will be operated until October 28 with a departure from Nice Côte d’Azur at 2:15 p.m. for an arrival in New York at 5:15 p.m. local time. On the way back, the flight takes off from New York at 5.55 p.m. and arrives in Nice at 8.55 a.m. the following day. The NIce-Atlanta flight will operate until September 30 with takeoff from Nice at 11 a.m. and arrival in Atlanta at 3:25 p.m. local time. The return flight from Atlanta departs at 9 p.m. local time and will arrive in Nice at 12:20 p.m. the following day.
Refurbished Boeing 767-400s
Delta passengers to and from Nice will travel aboard a newly renovated Boeing 767-400 with four travel classes including the Delta One cabin which benefits from a fully reclining seat, the Premium Select cabin, the Delta Comfort+ cabin, and the Eco cabin (Main Cabin). Passengers can also benefit from more than 1,000 hours of entertainment, high-speed WiFi access (on demand) and free mobile messaging via iMessage, Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger. Every day, 476 seats will be available between Nice and the United States. Delta will facilitate the travel of more than 3,300 tourists per week this summer.
