March 20th marks the International Day of Happiness! It’s an excellent opportunity for us at GBN to remember our joys, successes and what makes us happy!
The concept of happiness has been dissected and pondered for thousands of years and continues to be a key goal for many. For instance, the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle argued that happiness is an end goal for human beings.
Foundation of International Day of Happiness
With a modern outlook, this day was officially founded in the United Nations in 2012. It intends to prioritize “happytalism’ over capitalism.
Its aim is to inspire positivity and to celebrate happiness however we see fit.
The meaning of happiness varies with each one of us. Some have fun activities in the office over snacks and others prefer an apero.
We’re going for the former and are excited to celebrate this day together.
