The investigators analyzed 24 references of cookies and cakes. There is something for everyone, with chocolate or red fruits for example. As you can imagine, the results are not pleasing. A 50g product contains approximately 14g of sugarwhich represents 30% of your intake for the day.

So, given these figures, you must greatly reduce this consumption. Maximum two or three biscuits per day. The WHO is even stricter on the concept of sugar and advises not to exceed 25 g of sugar per day.

Disastrous notes, to be consumed in moderation for your health

Often, cookies and cakes are synonymous with pla*s*r. Afternoon tea is a moment that the little ones really enjoy. They wait impatiently to enjoy their dose of sugar. Alas, the manufacturers abuse and push the cork far too far in the amounts of sugar and additives.

Of the 24 products tested, 17 don’t even have the average and are below 10 out of 20. Too much salt, sugar, saturated fatty acids… Nothing good for human health.

Lu and Milka are very well known brands and yet they are on the undesirable list. remember that the brand is not a guarantee of seriousness and trust. Consumers are gradually beginning to realize this, especially following the Buitoni tragedy.

What regarding other brands, such as BN, Bonne Maman, Nutella or Kinder? The scores are less catastrophic and between 7 and 12. In short, the advice is to minimize cookies and cakesor even delete them completely, if you have the strength!

Instead, you can substitute with muesli, cereal flakes, seeds, dried fruits, fresh fruits. Test!
