Overall, the decline in the average price of fresh poultry may come as a relief for consumers who have been grappling with increasing prices in recent months. The drop in buying demand before Ramadan is cited as one of the reasons behind the decrease in prices. However, it remains to be seen whether this trend will sustain itself following the holy month. As one of the top poultry producers globally, Egypt’s self-sufficiency in poultry production provides some stability in the industry.
