Lenovo introduces 34- and 45-inch Legion gaming monitors with up to 180Hz refresh rate

Lenovo has introduced two curved gaming monitors – the 34-inch Legion Y34wz-30 and the 45-inch Legion R45w-30. Both new items are equipped with USB hubs, KVM switches and have the ability to split the screen into two.

The Lenovo Legion R45w-30 monitor model has an aspect ratio of 32:9. The novelty supports WQHD resolution (3440 × 1440 pixels), uses a 10-bit matrix with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, which can be overclocked to 170 Hz.

Legion R45w-30 display claims 500 cd/m2 brightness2, 120% sRGB and 115% DCI-P3. Color accuracy is Delta E <2. Specifies support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro image sync technology.

The Lenovo Legion R45w-30 monitor is equipped with a USB hub with a USB Type-C connector with support for 75W charging, as well as a 2.5-gigabit network adapter. The set also contains HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 connectors.

The Lenovo Legion R45w-30 gaming monitor will go on sale in October for $999.99.

The Legion Y34wz-30 monitor model is equipped with a Mini-LED backlight. For the novelty, DisplayHDR 1000 certification has been announced. The resolution and color accuracy of the 34-inch model is the same as that of the older 45-inch version.

The younger model also claims 120 percent coverage of the sRGB color space and 115 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The display supports a refresh rate of 180Hz (via overclocking). The response speed is 1ms (MPRT). The novelty is equipped with a USB hub with an output power of 145 watts.

The Legion Y34wz-30 monitor will also go on sale in October. The manufacturer priced it at $1199.99.
