Almost two weeks following the violent death of twelve-year-old Luise in Rhineland-Palatinate, new findings have now come to light. As “Focus online” writes, citing well-informed circles, one of the two perpetrators, who have now confessed to the bloody deed, previously found out regarding the legal situation regarding their age on the Internet.
Perpetrator researched criminal immaturity
The twelve-year-old is said to have searched online for criminal immaturity, according to documents that investigators found during a search. According to the German Criminal Code, criminals under the age of 14 cannot be prosecuted for their crimes. The search for the perpetrator suggests that before killing the 12-year-old she wanted to make sure that she would get away with it unpunished.
After visiting a friend, twelve-year-old Luise from Freudenberg in Siegerland, North Rhine-Westphalia, never came home. The parents then alerted the police, who started a large-scale search. In a wooded area near the former Wildenburg train station, a police officer found what they were looking for with the help of a search dog.
Luise died as a result of “numerous knife wounds”, as the investigators said. “After more than 40 years of service, there are still events that leave you speechless,” said the police vice president during a press conference. According to “Focus online”, forensic medicine found a good 30 knife wounds on Luise’s body – the two perpetrators threw her down an embankment following the attack, where Luise succumbed to her injuries.
Hurt feelings as a motive for the crime
The perpetrators are two girls aged 12 and 13; they are said to have been friends with Luise. After an appointment with the two, it should have come to action. The girls had given the investigators details of the crime and confessed to them. Due to privacy and youth protection reasons, however, only a few details regarding the crime were made public.
According to “Focus online”, hurt feelings are possible as a motive for the crime. Before the act, Luise blasphemed regarding the figure of one of the two perpetrators. It is not known whether this happened in the school playground or online.
