New Kia KX3, which are imported under the scheme of parallel imports, fell in price in Russia, as the correspondent of Autonews.ru was convinced, having familiarized himself with the offers of dealers on one of the specialized portals.
Recall that under the name KX3 in other countries, the well-known crossover Kia Seltos is sold in Russia. For the first time, KX3 were brought under the parallel import scheme to Russia in December 2022. Then the model cost from 2.5 million rubles.
However, now dealers have revised prices for the model. Now the minimum cost of Kia KX3 is 2,170,000 rubles. That is, the car has fallen in price by 330 thousand rubles. However, in some car dealerships, these crossovers cost up to 2,670,000 rubles.
Kia KX3 is offered in Russia with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. Its power is 115 hp. and 144 Nm of torque. The motor works in conjunction with the variator.
Kia KX3/Seltos production began in 2019. In 2020, the assembly of cars was set up at the Kaliningrad Avtotor using SKD technology, that is, ready-made car kits came to the plant. Localization was minimal. However, in the spring of 2022, the company suspended its activities in Russia, completely stopping the production of cars at the Kaliningrad site and at the Hyundai Motor plant in St. Petersburg.
