Seaal launches new digital services on World Water Day

ALGIERS – The Water and Sanitation Company of Algiers (SEAAL), launched, Wednesday on the occasion of the celebration of World Water Day (March 22), new digital services to improve contact with its customers.

These new services were launched during a ceremony organized by “La Maison de l’Eau” at the Promenade des Sablettes (Algiers), in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Hydraulics, the water resources departments in the wilayas of Algiers and Tipasa, as well as officials from SEAAL and the National Agency for Integrated Water Resources Management (AGIRE).

This is a new digital platform in Arabic, which will facilitate the access of citizens of the capital and Tipasa to the services of the company through several innovative applications developed 100% by its internal teams, according to the explanations. provided by the general manager of “SEAAL”, Lyes Mihoubi.

This platform, developed by Algerian skills, contains all the necessary information concerning the company, its customers, and its services, in particular those relating to the water supply program and administrative procedures, continued Mr. Mihoubi.

The platform includes several applications, including the geographical portal which allows customers to know the distribution program specific to their region in real time, the “Wakalati” application, a digital agency which allows customers to access the same services offered by a physical agency without travel, as well as the “Fatourati” application which allows customers to pay their bills.

It is also the “BaridiNet” application dedicated to the payment of invoices via the Edahabia card, as well as the “Infotravaux” application which allows customers to find out regarding the work carried out by SEAAL and their impact on the distribution program. .

===A special drinking water supply program during the month of Ramadhan===

In addition to the digital platform, “SEAAL” will also launch a digital payment station model and which will be installed in different public places in the future and provide customers with easy access to digital payment platforms, in order to pay their bills quickly and securely, alongside their daily activities.

The station produced by the company’s technical teams is intended to be an integrated platform containing all the customer’s data (account, meter indicator, etc.), as well as the geographical portal which allows customers to know the specific distribution program to their region in real time and any changes.

On the occasion of the celebration of World Water Day (March 22), several awareness-raising activities on the importance of preserving this vital resource were organized at the Maison de l’Eau to anchor the culture of water consumption.

These exhibitions, open to the general public, will highlight innovative techniques used to improve public water and sanitation services.

Educational workshops for children, including fun activities, lessons and coloring sessions on the theme of water are also organized on occasion to make children aware of the importance of water and responsible management. water resources.

Responding to questions from the press on the supply of water to citizens during the month of Ramadhan, Mr. Mihoubi said that the SEAAL has drawn up a special program to improve the supply and guarantee a public service that meets the aspirations of citizens.

60% of customers in Algiers will benefit from a daily water supply, while 40% will benefit from the program every other day, he said.
