Serco announced.SercoAbout its cooperation with the Emirati Mental Health Platform, to talkWithin a university program that aims to support the mental health of students to qualify them and help them develop in the future.
The program aims to provide mental health services and counseling to more than 10,000 university students. A series of digital seminars is scheduled to be launched for a number of universities in the UAE within the program to cover various topics. These include time management, exam pressure, public speaking anxiety, self-care, and self-compassion, as well as stress and anger management, coping strategies, and more.
Commenting on the collaboration, Phil Maleme, CEO of Serco Middle East, said: “As part of our broader Emiratisation goals, we wanted to support young people locally before they take their first steps on the career ladder. The partnership with Takalam aims to provide the necessary resources and tools for young people to support their mental health, in addition to arming them with valuable skills to benefit from in the future.”
