An anniversary between joy and pain. This March 19, Bruce Willis celebrated his 68th birthday and his blended family has put the dishes in the big ones so that the actor suffering from dementia can take advantage of it. While some happy photos and videos have already been posted on social media, it hasn’t always been rosy behind the scenes.
“I started the morning crying as you can tell by my swollen eyes and red nose”said Emma Heming, wife of the star since 2009, on Instagram. “It is important that you see all aspects of it. People always tell me, ‘You’re so strong! I don’t know how you do it. I do not have a choice. I would love to have one, but I’m also raising two kids in the middle of it all”, she recalled. Bruce Willis and Emma Heming have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.

She explains that she takes it upon herself to publish this type of content in order to thank the many fans of the American actor. “I do it as much for me as for you, because I know how much you love my husband”she explained, struggling to contain her emotion.
Bruce Willis suffers from frontotemporal dementia and has not been able to shoot in films for several months already. His disease is incurable.
