The Unter teachers’ union once once more rejected the salary proposal of the Río Negro government and announced a plan to fight for eight days of strike in the province. In Cipolletti and Cinco Saltos the teachers’ union will carry out mobilizations to reinforce the claim. Despite the mandatory conciliation issued last night, the union maintained the measure of force today.
This week the strike will be for 48 hours, then a similar measure will be advanced on Tuesday 28, Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 Marchwith a provincial mobilization to Viedma on Wednesday.
In Cipolletti, the teachers’ union It will be mobilized today at 11.30 at the Anses headquarters. “We want to make our claim visible. The State is responsible for not unlocking this conflict,” the union said in a statement.
The situation will be replicated in Five Jumps on Thursday. At 10.30 a mobilization will begin in the Plaza San Martín and they will continue with a popular pot at noon. During the day, Unter will make a pamphlet to make his claim visible. The measures of force arose from the Extraordinary Congress of the teachers’ union, which met in big saw and harshly questioned the salary policy of the provincial Executive.
While the congress was taking place, the government of Río Negro declared conciliation compulsory, the union assures that it was not formally notified. “We make it clear to the entire community and to our fellow teachers that this is a fallacy because the act of Congress has not yet been released to the Ministry of Labor with the definition of the measures. The Government cannot take action on a fact of which it has not yet received formal notification. On the other hand, we did not receive written notification from the Government either,” they stated.
