We need uncomplicated solutions for peak times!
Vienna (OTS) – With a new proposal for those willing to perform, the free economy makes people sit up and take notice. “We are demanding a check for temporary workers similar to the service check for simple, typical household services in private households,” says gastronomy spokesman Michael Fürtbauer.
Fürtbauer: “Only a temporary check that is also taxed at the end makes sense. For example, an entrepreneur buys a check for €20, which the employee can then cash for €15. With this € 5.- all taxes are paid. All bureaucratic hurdles such as registration or payroll accounting will then be eliminated!”
It is important to us that maximum limits are set for companies. He can imagine that only a certain sum – around 10 percent of the turnover – may be paid out, so that no entrepreneur is tempted to employ only such employees. At the same time, an exemption limit of around €1,000 must be introduced for the employee, because the €5 already contributes. The entrepreneur reports the amount of the checks for the respective employees to the tax office. This is correctly settled at the end of the year via the income tax that may be incurred. Everything else would be too complicated and the temporary workers would not be affordable, according to the liberal gastronomy spokesman.
This solution would be a win for everyone. The catering establishments would finally have the opportunity to employ temporary workers unbureaucratically and in accordance with the law. The state gets its dues as soon as the innkeeper buys the check. “The employee who is willing to perform can legally earn extra money, does not have to fear any penalties and is also insured once morest accidents,” concludes Fürtbauer.
