The beginning of the year is always the time to settle accounts with the lion. The statements of Income Tax 2023 can now be sent by taxpayers using the program available for macOS, Windows, Linux — or, if you prefer, also by iPhone/iPad (or Android smartphones) using the Meu Imposto de Renda app.
If you are looking to submit your statement using your iPhone or iPad, you may have encountered an error when trying to log in using your gov.br account. Turns out, with a simple step, you can solve this and proceed without any problems.
All that needs to be done is to temporarily disable the feature that hides your IP address. To do this, open Settings, tap “Safari” and “Hide IP Address” (in the “Privacy & Security” section). Finally, select “Trackers Only” or “Disabled”.
After that, follow the steps to file your income tax return. Later, you can turn on the feature that hides your IP address once more by going to the same section.
The cool thing regarding this trick is that it also works for anyone who simply wants to use a Federal Government application that asks for the gov.br login, like the official app itself. ????
