MONCLOVA.- To the medical staff of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Coahuila, 277 specialists will be integrated as of this month.
In accordance with Javier Guerrero García, Director of Operations and Evaluation of the IMSSWith this, the IMSS Coahuila Family Medicine places will be covered 100 percent.

During his work visit to Monclova, in which he verified the progress of programs and projects, Guerrero García explained that it will be this month when the new staff will join the activities.
In Monclova, 41 doctors will be integrated, 33 in Acuña, 25 in Piedras Negras, 16 in Sabinas, 58 in Saltillo, 98 in Torreón4 in Parras and 2 in Ramos Arizpe.
He added that in the case of Monclova there will be 21 specialists for the Family Medicine area; 5 in the ER, 3 in Intensive Care and 2 in Radiodiagnosis.

In addition, a doctor will be integrated into each of these areas: Anesthesiology, Cardiology, Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, as well as Neurology, Surgical Oncology, Medical Pediatrics, Urology and Traumatology and Orthopedics.
According to Guerrero Garcia, The staff was selected from March 1 to 9, during the recruitment of resident physicians “United we will transform Health Services Care, Family 2023”.
