The artist Ashraf Zaki, captain of the acting professions, revealed the death of the actress Lubna Mahmoud, and the funeral will take place tomorrow, Monday, from the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque following the noon prayer, and she was buried in the family graves, and a date for receiving condolences has not been set.
Actress Lubna Mahmoud graduated from the Higher Institute of Ballet and was among the first class to join the Cairo Opera Ballet troupe, then she turned to acting, and it was the beginning of her artistic career in 1985 when she participated in the movie “The Owner of Management, the Concierge of Architecture” with the Egyptian director Nadia Salem, then she continued her participation in artworks After that, she diversified between theatre, cinema and television drama.
The actress Lubna Mahmoud participated in many cinematic films such as the movie “The Man and the Mongoose” and the movie “Some do not go to the authorized twice”, and many TV series such as the Nelly and Sherihan series, and the series “Family Subject”, and she was famous for her performance of the character of the former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir in two television works, namely the series Agent 1001, And the series War of Spies.
It is noteworthy that the last work of the artist, Lubna Mahmoud, was through the movie “Wahid Tani”, starring Ahmed Helmy, Roby, Sayed Ragab, Amr Abdel Jalil, Nisreen Amin, Ahmed Malik and Nour Ehab, written by Haitham Dabour, and directed by Muhammad Shaker Khudair.
