With just a couple of hours on national soil, the singer Karen Bejarano arrived at the Lollapalooza Festival on Saturday following her triumphant walk on the red carpet for the premiere of the film Mystery in Sight, event where the national artist even rubbed shoulders with actor Adam Sandler.
“I arrived in Chile a few hours ago,” she commented entertainedly to BioBioChile from the Costanera Center stand. “I arrived, I got off the plane, I kissed my son and my husband, I bathed, I got ready and I came,” she narrated.
Regarding his experience on the red carpet, Bejarano revealed his emotion, assuring that it was a moment “that I never imagined, not even in my most absurd dreams as a teenager.”
“I loved being able to enjoy how beautiful Paris is and then meeting Adam (Sandler) and Jennifer (Aniston) were the icing on the cake,” he stressed.
About that experience with Hollywood stars, the winner of The Chef’s Disciple He commented on a special moment he shared with the film’s protagonist, Adam Sandler.
“Adam high-fived me, I’m paid for it. I didn’t want to ask for photos, but I have the image in my head. There is a video of us high five, in one of those I am going to upload it, I am going to ask for permission through DM ”, she also joked.
Regarding Sandler, Bejarano described that he “He is super loving, everything they talk regarding him is real. He is a seven”.
For his part, “jennifer is a goddess. Real. He looks 20″, though he was sorry he didn’t get the chance to talk to her.
“The person I talked to the most was the director of the film. (Jeremy Garelick), whom I asked for a photo because I found him to be cool,” he also assured.
A festive invitation
The first time Karen Bejarano was contacted for her meeting with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston It happened in the middle of the Viña del Mar Festival. “I was leaving the Quinta Vergara when they called me from Netflix with an invitation: they needed a person from Chile to attend the premiere in Paris,” he narrated then.
“I told them altiro (sic) yes. I didn’t even know what the premiere was regarding, ”she commented with a laugh. Likewise, she pointed out that “since I was going to be the only Chilean, I chose to use the dress of a Chilean designer: Javiera Jordan.”
“It happened that just the week before, Florence Pugh wore a similarly styled dress to the Oscars, although mine had it planned two weeks ago. When I walked down the red carpet, a lot of fashion influencers would ask me whose dress it was,” she recalled.
However, the most difficult thing was keeping the secret. Originally, only she and Juan Pedro Verdier, her husband, knew regarding it. “So when she was very nervous and anxious, she would look at him and say ‘love, I’m going to Paris,’ ” she commented, recalling her emotion from her experience.
