Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists circulated on social media, videos and photos from the tour of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, with his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Cairo.

Activists highlighted the passage of the two ministers during the tour on a wall displaying pictures of the presidents of Egypt, shedding light on the absence of a picture of the former Egyptian president, Mohamed Morsi, which sparked interaction.

And the account of the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published the video clip of the tour on its official page on Twitter.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Saturday, the first visit by a Turkish foreign minister to Egypt in 11 years.

The Turkish minister was received by his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the two ministers will hold a closed bilateral meeting. Following the bilateral meeting, extensive discussions will be held in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, followed by a joint press conference.
