A news study published within Nature Medicine reviewed the diets recommended by doctors and science with the aim of evaluating their health benefits. The study was led 32 years out of 205,852 participants aged 25 to 75. She revealed that a healthy diet can prevent chronic diseases.
The researchers looked at multiple diets whose benefits have already been demonstrated on health, like the Mediterranean diet.
According to the researchers’ results, people who followed this diet reduce their risk of inflammationhigh blood sugar or diabetes and would be less likely to develop type 2 diabetes, heart disease or cancer.
The study showed on the contrary that processed meats, energy drinks, red meat or french fries were associated with the onset of chronic diseases.
