Schumachers mourn their dog: “Rest in peace, my darling”

The former Formula 1 driver and current Sky expert also reported to the social networks on the evening of March 14 for another reason. Ralf Schumacher mourns his dog: “Rest in peace, my darling,” he wrote on his Instagram account, sharing a black and white picture of his faithful companion Jessi.

The Maltese dog accompanied the Schumachers for a very long time. She reached an almost biblical age – Ralf wrote in November 2022: “The young lady will be 21 in March. Unbelievable. ”It is not known whether Jessi still lived to see her birthday.

Many fans mourned with Ralf Schumacher. In the comments there are reactions like “I think only pet owners can understand how you feel then”, “Losing your beloved animal is just terrible” or “The moment that every dog ​​owner abhors”.

Ralf’s ex Cora also commented on the photo. She tagged the former racer, posted three emojis with teardrop faces, a black heart and folded hands. In her own story she shared several older pictures and videos of the dog and wrote: “Our Old Lady Jessi passed away yesterday. Rest in peace you pure soul.”

Ralf and Cora’s son, racing driver David Schumacher, also shared impressions from the past on Instagram and wrote: “Rest in peace, little one. I wish you all the best up there.” One can only guess how many beautiful moments the Schumachers had with their bitch. What remains are the memories. The four-legged friends generally play a major role in the family: Ralf also shows his Instagram fans pictures of his Lilly once more and once more.

Nephew Mick is also active on social networks. Most recently, he congratulated his mother Corinna on her birthday with touching photos. (mind)
