Britain’s King Charles III has long been admired for his work ethic, being in his office while everyone else is fast asleep.
In the morning hours, Charles III makes calls, but the voices of the guards outside the palace disturb her, according to the British Daily Mail.
The newspaper pointed out that the matter is related to the loud cries that the guards repeat during the morning march (military march) and the beating of their feet.
She pointed out that the 74-year-old king asked the guards to announce the beginning and end of the march in a quieter manner, so as not to affect him.
The newspaper quoted royal sources as saying that the king’s proposal was conveyed “gently and politely,” and not with a “nervous fit.”
The order was confirmed by an e-mail to the Department of Guards which read: “His Majesty has noted how loud the departing guards at St James’s Palace were in the morning.”
She added that the voices expressed vitality, but the King requested that they be reduced, which “would be greatly appreciated by those in the palace.”
