Thanks to a lively press briefing this Thursday, as a prelude to the day of patriotic mobilization and commitment of Malian youth to support the transition to be held at the Palais des Sports this Saturday, March 18, 2023, the National Council of Youth has launched a vibrant appeal to the juvenile layer to make this meeting a great success. It was under the aegis of the national president Mr. Habib Dakouo, in the presence of the general secretary Mr. Boubacar Yalkoué and other members of the office.
“The CNJ watches over and provides its support through all the works going in the direction of the interest of the Nation. During this transition, he made it several times and intends to mark his presence in an indelible way this time through several actions”, declared the national president of the CNJ at the start.
The first, he continues, is the massive presence of Malian youth at the activity to be held at the Palais des Sports on Saturday March 18, 2023, the essence of which is the mobilization in response to the call of the President of the Transition which dedicated its mandate to youth.
“For this first part, the Executive Committee of the CNJ is hard at work and beyond this formal structure, I take the opportunity to launch an appeal to the place of the youth of Bamako and surrounding to take part to this activity which is ours because the call of the President is addressed exclusively to Malian youth”, he explains.
After this activity of the 18th, adds the president, the National Youth Council “is in the process of crisscrossing all the municipalities of Bamako, the regions and the diaspora in order to convey messages of communion between sons of the country to support highly patriotic and salutary questions posed and in progress by the authorities of the transition under the leadership of his Excellency, Colonel Assimi Goïta”.
“In this register, its content requires it, the draft constitution whose finalization recorded the qualitative participation of the CNJ through its representative, we will give ourselves the duty to popularize it through all the regions of Mali so that the populations permeate the major innovations contained in the said document and which take their grievances into account,” he announced.
According to him, this approach of support to the authorities of the transition will be sanctioned by a large gathering of the youth of Mali from Kayes to Menaka at the March 26 stadium. The chronogram of all these actions will be made official shortly. “It is the Hour of Youth and we must not miss this historic appointment for any reason”, he concluded.
