BovExo and Coopercitrus – Cooperativa de Produtores Rurais signed a digital alliance to help cooperative rural producers in the development of sustainable production, uniting the expertise of the cooperative’s team of specialists with the technology offered by agritech, focused on data analysis for planning and performance management of Brazilian livestock.
The partnership takes to the field an application that allows the cooperative member to choose a diet adapted to the real conditions of the herd, in addition to enabling real-time monitoring of high and low performance animals and presenting the ideal point of slaughter and sale, always with the technical follow-up of the Coopercitrus team.
“The great ghost of low profitability in livestock exists because of biased decisions. What the tool’s algorithms do is precisely to optimize the decision-making process to extract the maximum profit”, explains BovExo’s CEO, Paulo Dancieri.
In addition to providing better financial results for ranchers, the tool also offers sustainability indicators. “A more efficient process emits less carbon and generates more profit. The tool helps to show how sustainable the farmer is by, for example, optimizing his diet strategy to reduce carbon emissions”, emphasizes the CEO.
The partnership is in line with Coopercitrus’ strategy, according to the livestock manager, Enaldo de Carvalho. “In the relentless pursuit of productive efficiency, it is necessary to invest in technologies that guarantee assertive directions. In synergy with the mission and vision of the cooperative, BovExo adds value to its members in the search for sustainable results for solutions that add value to their business”.
