Al-Marsad Newspaper: Abdullah Al-Mutairi, a specialist in clinical nutrition, explained that the best time to exercise to lose weight is during the month of Ramadan.
He said during an interview with the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel: “Exercising during the month of Ramadan depends on the purpose of it and the state of health. If the goal is to lose weight, then the best time to exercise is an hour before breaking the fast.”
He continued, “In this case, the person has an opportunity to replace the fluids and salts that he lost while exercising,” pointing out the need not to exercise in hot weather or under the sun.
He advised diabetics not to exercise during fasting because they are more likely to have low blood sugar.
