The Department of Investments centrally procures cloud services for more than 30 million euros for five years

The Ministry of Investments, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic (MIRRI) announced a narrow competition for the central public procurement of cloud services for more than 30 million euros without value added tax (VAT) for five years. Partial contracts for several public contracting authorities and contracting authorities for the purchase of cloud services and their support, cloud migration services or other publicly available services will be entered in the established dynamic purchasing system. This follows from published information in the Public Procurement Gazette.
The orders will be financed from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, European Union funds and from the state budget. Those interested can apply to participate in the procurement until April 11, according to the Department of Investments, invitations to the competition or to participate will be sent to selected applicants by May 11. Cloud services are services provided in the public part of the government cloud or in the form of a private government cloud, a special type of service is the so-called cloud service management, which will also be available through a dynamic purchasing system.
MIRRI announces and manages the public procurement process as a central procurement organization according to the Public Procurement Act and, in accordance with its statute, performs centralized public procurement activities in the field of information and communication technologies. The public procurement entity performs support activities for several public procurement entities and contracting entities.
