Time Magazine highlighted Torres del Paine as one of the 50 best places in the world to visit in 2023.
Through its website, the renowned publication recommended the national park, located in the extreme south of our country, as a destination to visit.

“In addition, it is one of the best places on the planet on Earth to see wild pumas,” the publication detailed.
“Thanks to a growing population, and a higher level of habituation to humans, visitors have a good chance to see the elusive animals within the Torres del Paine National Park”you can read in the description.
Conservation program highlighted
Along with noting it as the second most popular park in the country with 300,000 visitors per year, Time Magazine applauded the puma conservation program promoted by Awasi Pataogina, a lodge and cabin center that leased land on the outskirts of the national park to protect the species.
“Killing pumas is illegal in Chile, but it is still frequently practiced on private land outside the national park,” the outlet noted.
In addition to the Torres del Paine, Time Magazine highlighted other places such as the island of Roatán de Hondurasthe pyramids of Giza and Saqara in EgyptYosemite National Park in USA and Naples in Italiaamong others.
