A septuagenarian living in Lincent was seriously injured in a fall from a bicycle on Wednesday in the entity of Orp-Jauche. The Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office evokes a potential responsibility of the public authorities.
“The expert dispatched to the scene is formal, affirming that the state of the roads at the place of the accident is the cause“, said the spokesperson for the prosecution.
In fact: the accident occurred on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m., in rue Léon Jacquemin, in Orp-le-Grand. The cyclist, born in 1946, fell and was seriously injured.
The septuagenarian was transported to the CHC MontLégia clinic in Liège. At the time of his admission to the emergency department, his life was considered to be in danger.
