In the midst of heightened insecurity at all times and places in the city of Córdoba, a young woman reported that her cell phone was stolen around the corner from the police station located one block from Juan Schiaretti’s Government House.
”Today it was my turn. My cell phone was stolen around the corner from the police station, one block from the Honeycomb. They threatened me with a knife while people passed me by,” the woman complained in dialogue with Up Cordobaby The Twelve.
While he was on the street, the assailants turned onto San Jerónimo. “We were just around the corner from the police station. Two policemen caught the thief. They got on the phone, they told me to go to the police station. I was left incommunicado with fright, ”he said.
“I am not going to get used to it being normal. A block away, a policeman passes by on a motorcycle. I stop him, and I tell him. He tells me: ‘He’s going to file a complaint with the police station,’” he added.
After the fact, he blocked the cell phone and bought another. “I went to the police station, they told me that they had a two-hour delay to file a complaint. It is a super simple complaint. I went back to my house, I might not make the complaint. I am in Buenos Aires for work, but I am going to do it ”, she indicated.
