In a few weeks, esports fans will be flocking to the US West Coast for the DreamHack San Diego event. The mega-event will feature a range of games and add-ons, but will be headlined by the Rocket League Major, where players will compete for a share of the $310,000 prize pool.
With DreamHack San Diego scheduled for April 7-9, the Rocket League Championship Series’ presence will be the Winter Major’s presence. But beyond that, the event will also feature the Snapdragon Pro Series, US Magic: The Gathering Regional Championship, DreamHack Fighters, and Fortnite, all of which can be won in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
But that’s not all, as DreamHack San Diego will bring extra events like a cosplay contest and creator showcase, and even an exclusive reveal of The Super Mario Bros. Movie to coincide with the premiere shortly before the event kicks off.
