Orlando City missed out on the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League with ex-Rapid striker Ercan Kara.
After a 0-0 draw in the first leg, the Florida side were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Mexico’s Tigres UANL.
Cordova put the guests ahead in the 21st minute. Then the hosts pressed for the equalizer. However, this only falls in the 89th minute: Kara hits with a wonderful overhead kick and gives the Orlando fans hope once more.
Tigers player Caetano de Suuza Santos sees the red card in a heated final phase – but Orlando doesn’t score the winner anymore.
