St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington was on his game once more Wednesday night once morest the Minnesota Wild.
The match was presented on TVA Sports and TVA Sports Direct.
After allowing his fifth goal of the game in the second period, Binnington rushed forward Ryan Hartman to deliver a shield blow to his face.

An altercation ensued in which Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury attempted to engage Binnington but the linesmen intervened. The Blues goalkeeper was sent off for his gesture.
Binnington already seemed to have been bothered by a few events that had happened earlier in the game. In the first period, he went there with a dubious gesture towards Joel Eriksson Ek. Then, in the second, he got involved in a rather heated conversation with Mason Shaw, following the latter had given Dean Evason’s men a 4-3 lead.
Afterwards, Alex Goligoski made sure to taunt Binnington in his celebration following going 6-4. The Wild eventually won 8-5.
Binnington isn’t the only one to lose control for the Blues. Brayden Schenn also received a misconduct for trying to go following Hartman. He immediately broke his stick once morest the tape in frustration when he returned to the locker room.
